You have charted your course for the premier sailing area on Georgian Bay! Parry Sound is in the largest natural harbour on the Great Lakes. Georgian Bay is on the East side of Lake Huron in Ontario, Canada. The pristine, open water is more than five by six nautical miles in area, more than 300 feet deep with dependable, brisk winds. It is known as The Big Sound. This sailing destination offers every possible convenience for racers and cruisers without compromising the spectacular beauty of Northern Ontario.
The Sound is accessible directly from the Town of Parry Sound which is along the Trans Canada Highway 69, just 30 minutes away from Highway 400 and two hours from downtown Toronto.
